The perfect balance between comfortable and classy; subtlety and extravagance, Rolex’s well-seasoned bracelet collection ensures a little something for all tastes.

When Edmund Hillary climbed Mount Everest, along with his unshakeable determination, it was the Rolex Oyster Perpetual that stayed with him. That has always been the hallmark of Rolex - a brand that stays with you beyond the experience.

An important component of this experience is the understated luxury and grace of the Rolex bracelets themselves. But, no talk about watches is ever complete without mentioning the clasps that hold them together, quite literally. The perfect balance between comfortable and classy; subtlety and extravagance, Rolex’s well-seasoned bracelet collection ensures a little something for all tastes.

Presenting some of the most memorable Rolex bracelets that have been seen over time.

Oyster Bracelet

First, the most iconic and ubiquitous of them all - the Oyster bracelet. Not only is it comfortable, but the bracelet is also a great sporty option on models such as the Submariner and the Daytona or dressier watches like the Datejust and the Sky-Dweller. The models Sea-Dweller, Air King, Explore and Milgauss come only with the robust Oyster bracelet. A design that has been perfected over 70 years, it is available in steel, gold, two-tone steel and gold, and platinum, and can be combined with all Rolex clasps.

Jubilee Bracelet

Dressier than the Oyster bracelet, its five-piece links construction includes three thinner interior links flanked by larger links. This understated piece was initially launched with the Oyster Perpetual Datejust in 1945. Prized for adding a dressier touch to Rolex watches, it is a highly comfortable bracelet to wear and usually found on Datejust, Yacht-Master and GMT-Master II watches.

President Bracelet

The President bracelet is for those used to making their mark felt and is only available in precious metals. First introduced in 1956, the President band is found on men’s Day-Date watches and select ladies’ Rolex Datejust watches. Similar to Jubilee, these bracelets are fastened with a concealed folding Crownclasp. This allows for a seamless look on your wrist without being interrupted by a bulky clasp.

Pearlmaster Bracelet

The dainty, sensual and sophisticated bracelet steals the show with its rounded five-piece links and is a recent addition. It is a part of Rolex’s collection of lavish jewelry watches adorned with diamonds and other gems along with the dial, bezel, and bracelet.

The Oysterflex Bracelet

Rolex unveiled the Oysterflex in 2015.  Its unique construction begins as a titanium and nickel metal alloy blade which is then coated in a black elastomer. This makes the Oysterflex both robust like metal yet flexible like rubber, and can be found on some Yacht-Master and Daytona models.

As for leather straps, while Cellini is available only in leather straps, Rolex does offer leather straps as an option for Sky-Dweller models too.

Each bracelet fills a clear position in Rolex’s lineup, and no matter which you choose, you can be assure of a design that is truly iconic and timeless.
